My classes take a therapeutic approach tailored to your needs with a focus on breath and its connection to movement. Yoga therapy is based on the teachings of Šri.T. Krišnamačarya and the Mohan family, who have passed this knowledge to my Prague-based teachers and their school. In my classes, I integrate a healing and trauma-sensitive yoga practice and Ayurvedic philosophy, with the Feldenkreis method and the mindful understanding of your body with a craniosacral approach. Ayurveda Yoga therapy seeks to understand the effect of each asana, mudra, and pranayama on the body. It seeks to understand what these practices do to the physiology of the body and mind. I will guide you to experience your own perceptions and emotions at a physical level, and help you to “awaken the song of your own body.” I will support you as you bring yoga into your everyday life, and open yourself to a practice that allows for stability, softness, and strength at the same time. Pranayama and meditation are part of the lessons. All of the classes are tailored to your abilities, constitution, and the season. You will set the pace and the direction. I will just be your guide.

We all have within us the five following elements: earth, fire, water, air, and ether. These elements define our constitution and our prakriti and determine all of our tendencies. If you understand your prakriti, you understand your tendencies. And if you understand your tendencies, you are able to live in such a way to prevent the manifestation of disease. Yoga that has been sculpted to your needs will support you in your journey towards this understanding.

Online Classes

Online classes allow you: to practice yoga under my guidance wherever you are; to experience all that is happening inside you with an open mind and an open heart; to find stability in an unstable external environment; to strengthen your center and bring it into harmony with the rest of your body. Ayurvedic consultations

Nutritional counselling and lifestyle modification according to ancient Ayurvedic teaching

Ayurveda (Ayur=health, Vedas=science, knowledge) is a science of life and the oldest surviving system of healing on our planet, originating in ancient India. It offers a profound understanding of the uniqueness of each person – their body, mind, and consciousness – with the aim of maintaining or restoring balance to individual body functions and achieving longevity. It teaches the effects of diet and environment on our bodies based on the model of the five basic elements and the three doshas. This approach is intertwined with that of yoga and its three gunas. The basic concepts of Ayurveda are: vata, pitta, and kapha. Vata is the principle of movement. Pitta is the energy of transformation. Kapha is the building material. Imbalance of vata, pitta and kapha will manifest as disease. On the contrary, their balanced state is HEALTH. Harmonization of these three energies is achieved through detoxification of the body, through a modification of lifestyle and diet, massage, and use of herbs. Meditation also plays an important role. Ayurveda has a very deep spiritual dimension.

Ayurveda shows us that sometimes very little is enough. Perhaps all it takes is a change to your mind-set, a recognition of the (un)suitability of food according to your constitution, and the use of spices as harmonizing agents. Your ability to find this change will be determined by your willingness to actively cooperate and take steps to modify your life gradually.
Individual Counselling

I offer individual counselling based on Ayurvedic principles and guidance for those interested in incorporating these principles into your daily routine. Together we will work to determine your constitutional typology. I will help you identify changes and steps to bring balance to your body and help restore or strengthen your health.
Consultation/ counselling (approx. 90min): 1300,- CZK (EUR 50)

If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice must be paid in full.

Workshops and Retreats

  • Workshops: Offerings of half-day, one-day, or two-day workshops allow for a more holistic view of the topic than regular classes. They cover asana, pranayama, and meditation practice in more breadth and depth. We will also touch on yoga philosophy.
  • Retreats: Multi-day stays in our Lavender country-house with a rich program and delicious meals are very popular. The intimacy of a small group and the female-only atmosphere allows space for growth and deeper understanding.
